Without our pharmacist members to set the direction of the association, KPhA cannot fulfill its mission. Licensed pharmacist members have the right to vote at the annual meeting.

Students + faculty

As a Student Pharmacist, you are the future of the practice of Pharmacy. What better time to learn about the options available to you to influence the practice of pharmacy and to meet currently practicing pharmacists in the state from a variety of practice settings and locations. We believe that there is no better way to get tied into the pharmacy profession in Kansas than to join KPhA! Enjoy FREE membership throughout pharmacy school and in your first year as a new practitioner. Students do not have the right to vote at the annual meeting.

KPhA values the perspectives of our School of Pharmacy faculty members and appreciate their involvement with KPhA committees, advisory groups, and the Board. In an attempt to keep faculty involved with KPhA we have set faculty membership rates at $30 per year. In order to maximize the exposure of our faculty members to practicing members, we ask that faculty agree to present at one KPhA Education Program per year.

Pharmacy Technicians

The practice of pharmacy relies on having a well-trained and engaged Technician workforce. With the changes in the pharmacy landscape in the last decade, the role of the Pharmacy Technician and the importance of the Pharmacy Technician in the everyday functioning of the pharmacy has grown to unprecedented levels. At KPhA, we are proud to represent Pharmacy Technicians and look forward to continuing to influence conversations at the state and national level around such issues as Technician credentialing, continuing education requirements, and the evolving role of the Pharmacy Technician in all practice settings. Technicians do not have the right to vote at the annual meeting.
