FREE CE from KDHE
Pharmacists can access the Kansas Tobacco Cessation Help (KaTCH) FREE self-directed training, which is accredited for 2 hours of Continuing Pharmacy Education (ACPE Board of Pharmacy CEU’s). It is structured into 7 learning modules, each ranging from 15 to 30 minutes. Modules include information on KanCare cessation benefits, Quitline programs, and how to talk with patients about tobacco use and vaping.

Contraceptive services training
Offered by Birth Control Pharmacist
This home study training program is intended to prepare pharmacists to prescribe contraceptives (pills, patch, ring, injection, nonhormonal, emergency contraception) under the Kansas Pharmacist Practice Authority Act (HB 2068).
This program includes background, review of methods, contraception service procedures, patient education, service implementation, resources for both pharmacists and patients, and opportunities for advocacy and providing services. Pharmacists can earn up to 2 contact hours (0.2 CEUs) of ACPE-accredited continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credit.
