KPhA wants you as a new member, and we look forward to serving you! If you are already a member, thank you! We pledge to continue to do our best everyday to provide you the services you expect out of your association!

KPhA membership is on a rolling basis - you're a member the day you enroll! KPhA can bill monthly or yearly via credit card, whatever works best for your budget. The renewal period begins one month prior to your expiration date each year.
For tax purposes 11% of your dues are non-deductible.


pharmacists

KPhA was started by pharmacists united for and dedicated to the advancement and promotion of quality and rational public health. Without our pharmacist members to set the direction of the association, KPhA cannot fulfill its mission! Licensed pharmacist members have the right to vote at the annual meeting.

  • New Grad/Resident (first year post-graduation) - FREE

Students + faculty

Student Pharmacists are the future of the profession, while pharmacy school faculty are at the forefront of pharmacy education. We value both their perspectives. Students, what better time to learn about the options available to you to influence the practice of pharmacy and to meet practicing pharmacists in the state. We believe that there is no better way to get connected to the pharmacy profession in Kansas than to join KPhA! Enjoy FREE membership throughout pharmacy school and in your first year as a new practitioner. School of Pharmacy faculty, to keep your costs low and to maximize your exposure to practicing members, we ask that faculty present at one KPhA Education Program per year. Students and Faculty members have the right to vote at the annual meeting.

Pharmacy Technicians

The practice of pharmacy relies on having a well-trained and engaged Technician workforce. With the changes in the pharmacy landscape in the last decade, the role of the Pharmacy Technician and the importance of the Pharmacy Technician in the everyday functioning of the pharmacy has grown to unprecedented levels. At KPhA, we are proud to represent Pharmacy Technicians and look forward to continuing to influence conversations at the state and national level around such issues as Technician credentialing, continuing education requirements, and the evolving role of the Pharmacy Technician in all practice settings. Technicians have the right to vote at the annual meeting.

pharmacy Groups

KPhA is pleased to offer a pharmacy group membership, giving everyone in the pharmacy KPhA benefits for one low price. Engage your whole team and keep everyone in the know about important practice changes, continuing education offerings, and discounts to KPhA events. Priced per location.


This membership category includes

  • 1 to 9 stores - $499 per location/year
  • 10+ stores - $399 per location/year

associate members

These are people with a vested interest in Kansas Pharmacy and interested in advancing the profession (such as a non-pharmacist pharmacy owner) that are not a pharmacist, residents, students, or technicians; and do not qualify as a professional member due to their employer (ie: school of pharmacy staff members, board of pharmacy employees, etc). $329/year. Associate Members have the right to vote for the Member At-Large positions in the yearly board elections.

professional members

An individual who is joining the association to represent their organization and has a professional interest in reaching our members. They are supportive of and provide professional assistance to KPhA members. $499/year.


Note: If you are a pharmacist who works for a pharmacy industry company, such as a pharmaceutical company, buying group, wholesaler, pharmacy benefit manager, etc., you will receive the same member benefits as a pharmacist member, but do not have the right to vote.
