Posters available for use in pharmacies

In conjunction with the Kansas Hospital Association, KPhA has created posters that can be used in pharmacies to raise awareness about the increased penalties for acts of violence against health care workers. There are versions for public and employee spaces.

The first poster is for public spaces and is titled "
SHOW KINDNESS. EARN RESPECT." It encourages patience, kindness, and respect. The second poster, entitled "ASSAULT IS NOT PART OF THE JOB" is for internal use in break rooms and staff areas. They urge staff to report acts of violence. (Click the titles to download.)

The posters are 8.5x11 inches. You can add your pharmacy logo to the poster if you want to. To maintain consistency in language please use the following when describing the new penalties:
Assault of a health care worker is a Class A misdemeanor that carries a maximum sentence of one year’s jail time and a $2,500 fine.
