Make an impact on your profession through Committee Service

If you've ever thought about getting more involved in shaping pharmacy practice in Kansas, now is the time! KPhA is currently recruiting nominations for service to several committees important to the profession of pharmacy in Kansas. From monthly virtual meetings to quarterly in person meetings, there are opportunities available for everyone from student to pharmacist, from health systems to community.

Committees currently accepting nominations:

  • Kansas Board of Pharmacy - K-TRACS Advisory Committee
  • Provide recommendations to the board on use of K-TRACS - providers currently using K-TRACS preferred
  • Kansas Pharmacists Recovery Network - Committee on Impaired Pharmacy Practice
  • Provide recommendations to the board on practitioners currently in recovery and focus on health and wellness of pharmacy practitioners
  • KPhA/KPF Education Committee
  • Plan continuing education and non-CE educational opportunities for KPhA members
  • KPhA Professional Affairs Committee
  • Provide guidance to KPhA on issues affecting pharmacy practice, such as statewide protocols and practice changing legislation
  • KPhA Engagement Committee
  • Plan networking and social events for KPhA members and work to increase member activity within KPhA
